About Mindful Pregnancy Yoga
My name is Kaszka. I am a practicing midwife and a certified pregnancy yoga teacher registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as well as with the Yoga Alliance Professionals.

Supporting women throughout their pregnancy, birth and early parenthood is at the core of my professional practice, whilst yoga is my passion.

I deeply believe in the fundamental role that movement and breath practices play in achieving good mental, emotional and physiological wellbeing.

It has been proven that through its holistic approach, practicing yoga whilst pregnant can have positive effects on anxiety, depression, perceived stress, mode of birth and duration of labour.
Yoga practice in pregnancy and the early postnatal period has the potential to balance the ever changing hormonal system as well as reduce common physical discomforts thus enhancing the emotional wellbeing of the mother.
The mindful aspect of yoga practice further enhances self awareness promoting a relationship between ourselves and our thoughts, which may facilitate the bond between the mother and her baby.
